Dr. Adam Murphy, Associate Professor of Urology and Preventive Medicine at Northwestern Medicine & is also on staff at Northwestern University and the Jesse Brown Veterans Administration Hospital. In addition to seeing patients, he has been studying the comparative accuracy of commercially available prostate cancer biomarkers and imaging tools in minorities, including HIV-infected men, and White, Hispanic and African American men. He has also been looking at the role of vitamin D deficiency, genetics, and biomarkers in men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Clinically, he is interested in general urology and men's health.
