Joanna Duran is an esteemed cancer rights attorney, author, and speaker with 30 years of dedicated service advocating for individuals affected by cancer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a focus on international relations, from UCLA, and earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Joanna is the co-founder and CEO of Triage Cancer Center, a national non-profit organization that offers free educational resources on the practical and legal challenges faced by cancer patients and their caregivers. Her work is fueled by a vision to ensure all individuals coping with cancer have the information and resources necessary to make informed decisions about their care and legal rights, striving to create a world where cancer patients can focus on their recovery with peace of mind and security.
